Welcome to Ölme Beach House, a red cottage with white trim right on the water's edge of the calm waters of Lake Vänern. This is a place where nature takes centre stage and where tranquillity meets adventure. The cottage offers an archipelago feel in a Värmland setting, with the chance to pick berries and mushrooms and to fish right from the area. With just 15 minutes to Kristinehamn or Karlstad, you have both peace and quiet and easy access to restaurants and attractions.
The cottage combines simple, rustic standards with modern comforts. Here you'll find WiFi, Xbox, a TV with Chromecast and board games for entertainment, along with a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need, more basic facilities for laundry and toilet with a dry toilet/outhouse, and an outdoor shower/garden shower. A perfect oasis for families and friends.
Enjoy unlimited access to nature's gifts through the right of public access. The private rocky beach is perfect for swimming, even for small children. In summer you can barbecue by the fire, sunbathe, relax in the hammock, or go cycling and boating. Winter brings cosy warmth from the wood burner and the chance to enjoy the snowy Värmland forests. This is your perfect base for both active adventures and peaceful moments in nature.

Guest access
You have access to the whole cottage, the dry toilet in the boathouse and the private beach, with full public right of access.
Additional information
- Bed linen and a towel are available if desired for €15 per person.
- Parking is free, with space for 2–3 vehicles in the designated area. Charging an electric car is not possible or permitted.
